I Drawers

T
he melamine drawers sold at home centers will
work for the modular installations in this book. It is
a good idea to find out which sizes are available before
designing the size of the section in which the drawers
will be placed. Standard sizes include 16 X 10",25 X
5", and 25 X 10".
To make your own custom drawers to fit any sized
section (with an average maximum of 36"), adjust the
parts sizes and then follow the simple instructions
in this project. Be sure to use glue specifically for
melamine products when making drawers out of
melamine-regular wood glue does not work as well.
