Dear 5th Grade Parents,

After looking at all the hard work that the students have put in so
far this year, we wanted to come up with a system to reward each
student who completes their responsibilities each day. Each student
will have the opportunity to earn !ildcat "ash# on a weekly basis by
working in a $ob in our classroom and school. %hese $obs range from
Assignment &eeper to %eacher 'elper. %he kids are responsible for
completing their assigned $ob to earn school money#. %his program
also comes with a downside( the students may be )ned# for any
unnecessary or inappropriate behavior, such as late homework or
being unprepared. !e want the students to take pride in their work
and most importantly feel a sense of accomplishment for their hard
work*
+ou may ask, !ell what are they earning their money for,#
Heres where we need your help. Students will have the
opportunity to spend their money throughout the year during
a Wildcat Cash Auction. We are asking you, the parents to
help by donating any items that you feel may be good to have
on our auction. We would like to have a good mix of items for
the kids to bid on, and we will be donating as well! ou do not
have to go out and make a huge purchase, nor is it a
re!uirement to donate at all. We thought involving the
parents would be good because they know what the kids like.
Also, it gives the parent the chance to o"er an incentive for
the kids to do well in school, providing a home to school
connection! #he more you donate, the better the auction will
be for your child.
