Personal Outcome:
To gain knowledge on different cultures and how it impacts
care.
Volunteering overseas frequently expands our medical and
cultural knowledge, enriches our professional relationships
and reinforces our sense of appreciation for the support we
receive in our own medical practice (Kolkin, 2014).
Program Outcome:
Health Care Environment- Advocate for improving health care
across the continuum of health care environments
We used the supplies and equipment available to provide the
best care possible. We also provided new supplies such as a
new blood pressure cuff that was needed by the clinic.
