Spelling Bingo

Students should complete at least one activity every night. A completed bingo
is due at the end of the week. Please color or initial the boxes when you
complete them. Have fun earning your bingo!


Create acrostic poem for
five of your spelling
words. Write each word
vertically. For each
letter, write a word or
phrase that relates to
the word.
Example:
Carries people and things
Awesome way to get
around
Riding around town.


Write each word in a
staircase pattern or
a pyramid pattern.

Write a riddle for five
of your spelling words.
Dont forget your
answers!
Example:
I am soft and furry. I
bark when a stranger is
at my door. What am I?


Sort your words into
three groups and tell why
you separated your words
that way. (Examples: same
beginning letter, same
ending letter, same
number of letters)

Put your words in ABC
order.

Color code your
words.
(Constants in blue,
vowels in red)

Write a story using all
of your words. Underline
each spelling word.
Write each word
horizontally and vertically.

Draw a picture of a
scene. You can include
people, parks, houses,
holidays, oceans, etc. and
hide all of your drawings.
Dont forget to make it
colorful and detailed!

Write each word
using a pencil, a
crayon, and a
marker.


Use each word in its own
sentence. Underline
each spelling word.


Create a word search with
your words. Then highlight
or circle all of your words.


Write each word and
then put as many rhyming
words as you can think of
next to it.
Write five of your
words in a list. Then
look at a telephone
keypad. Translate
each letter into the
numbers on the
keypad. Then write
your words in that
code.



Use each word in its own
question. Underline each
spelling word.
Complete a practice test.
Check it yourself after
you are done. Put a star
next to each word that is
correct and re-write any
word spelled wrong
correctly next to it two
times.
