To whom it may concern,

I am writing to you today regarding one of my phenomenal campers, Amanda Poe. Over the
past two weeks, I have been able to know Amanda and she has contributed such an important part to
the dynamic of our counselor group. She will be entering her sophomore year of high school in the fall of
2014 and she exemplifies academic rigor through the challenging classes she will be taking. A
hardworking student, Amanda is able to focus on her academics and is always seen diligently studying
during camp tutorial, a period where students have an opportunity to study. This responsibility is crucial
when students are on a time-crunch to get their homework done.
On the non-academic side, Amanda is very fun to be around and has a great taste for music. She
gets along very well with others and shows leadership through many examples such as being on her high
schools track team or by just being a great friend.
As an incoming accounting major and creative writing minor, Amanda would exceed all
expectations. She exemplifies tremendous responsibility and will be able to thrive in a college setting.
She has prepared very well for college by taking numerous AP courses in high school and she will only be
able to showcase her talents further in the future.
Thank you for looking over Amanda Poes application and I hope you will consider her for your
school.

Sincerely,
Mona Poblete
