b-next continues to expand international team with the hire of Pete Hudson

London, 26 February, 2014 b-next, a specialist provider of Market Abuse Surveillance, Insider
Dealing and Compliance software solutions, today announced the appointment of Pete Hudson as
Project Manager. Pete will help b-nexts clients implement its software solutions and further expand
the international client base.

The new appointment is part of b-nexts strategy to bring in highly experienced talent from across
the financial services sector and increase both the companys footprint and expertise in the UK.
Based in the London office, Pete will work on the planning and execution of new client projects,
working closely with the international sales team.

Pete Hudson has over 25 years experience working for software and service vendors in the financial
securities industry. He joins b-next from Dion Global Solutions, where he was Director of Products &
Strategy. Previous to that, Pete held senior executive positions at leading financial technology
organisations including; Misys, Thomson Financial, Linedata Services and Omgeo. Pete has significant
experience in systems and solutions covering the front, middle and back office in the securities
industry.

The financial industry is consistently being hit with a raft of new regulations to tackle market abuse,
insider dealing and compliance issues, which some firms are wholly unprepared for. Working with
such a prominent firm within the industry such as b-next will give me the opportunity to tackle these
issues head-on and improve the systems of well-known financial institutions, comments Pete
Hudson.
