Business Fundamentals

1.Overall Business Objective.


ANS: Business Objectives are set of target by the management or owner of business. These objective
give direction to the business .So ,business runs on track and needs of various stakeholders are met.
Some of the important business objectives are mentioned below:
1.Maximizing profit: Owners of the business wants to maximize their wealth.
2.Increase in ROI: Good rate of ROI means business is returning profit on the investment.
3.Growth:Every business wants to grow their market share.



2.Linkage between Business Objective and Stakeholder objective.
ANS: Any business objective is made with the consideration of meeting stakeholders demand. By not
considering any stakeholder while writing business objective may put business at risk and dissatisfaction
among the stakeholder .Thus ,there is linkage between Business objective and stakeholder objective.
1.For example: For most of the Businesses profit maximization is the main objective .Shareholders ,one
of the important stakeholder is also interested in making profit.
2.Government: government might like to interfere business by putting regulations. Business must follow
the regulation .so, business will form objective which will also consider government regulation.
3.Suppliers: Suppliers may want training from business to perform the delivery better. So, Business
objective must consider the grievances of supplier and consider training program for suppliers.
