University of South Florida receiving her bachelors of science in Sports medicine and Athletic Training. After graduation she moved to Columbus, Georgia where she was given the opportunity to be a graduate assistant through the Hughston Orthopedic Clinic/Foundation at Columbus State University. Through her Graduate assistantship she was the Athletic trainer for GW Carver High School, and earned her Masters Degree in Health and Physical Education. Upon graduation she got a job as an Elementary PE teacher and stayed on as the athletic trainer at GW Carver HS for 4 more years. Tamara taught as an Elementary PE teacher for 6 years before moving up to Towns County. Tamara, Husband Jared (Head Athletic Trainer and Young Harris College), and their 1 year old son Coltyn are excited to be a part of the Towns County Family.
