AirPhotoUSA Map Handler v4.23 for MapInfo is a program for users that alread have
MapInfo Professional! version ".# or later! installed on their $omputer. It allo%s MapInfo
users to open and displa the imager $ontained in AirPhotoUSA Map files as a laer in
MapInfo.
Unli&e the previousl availa'le AirPhotoUSA( Map)asi$ s$ript! this program
automati$all regenerates the displa as ou pan and *oom in MapInfo. +his program is
also mu$h faster.

,i$ensed users of the full version of PhotoMapper ma use this Map Handler upon
agreeing to the Map Handler-s li$ense agreement. +his soft%are %ill honor PhotoMapper
registration so there is no need to re.register. If ou are not li$ensed for the full version

.+A) file must 'e $reated. If the ta' file has alread 'een $reated s&ip to step ".

s&ip to step 4.
34. +o load the =eoreg tool sele$t +ool Manager on the +ool Menu. In the dialog
that appears sele$t the ,oaded and>or Auto,oad $he$&'o( ne(t to <egister a <aster
Image and $li$& on 57.
44. 6rom the +ool menu sele$t =eoreg .? <egister a raster image. 6or 6iles of tpe
at the 'ottom sele$t All 6iles @A.A4. 0o% navigate to the folder $ontaining the
AirPhotoUSA .Map file! sele$t it and $li$& on 57. If the .Map file is on a 8:.<5M or
other media that $annot 'e %ritten to ou %ill 'e as& if ou %ant to save the registration
information to a different dire$tor. 8li$& Bes and sele$t a suita'le lo$ation for the .+A)
file on our hard drive. It ma not 'e possi'le to generate a .+A) file for imager in the
CAirPhotoUSA 8onterminous U.S.C using =eoreg. 5ne should have 'een provided %ith the .Map
file.
24. +he imager from the Map file ma or ma not 'e visi'le at this point. /ither %a
sele$t ,aer 8ontrol from the Map Menu. Sele$t the imager laer ou 9ust added and
press the :ispla 'utton. In the :ispla 5ptions dialog that pops up un$he$& the
:ispla %ithin ;oom <ange and $li$& on 57. 0o%! $li$& on 57 in the ,aer
8ontrol dialog. +he imager should 'e visi'le no%.

the .+A) file $reated in step 4. If the imager is on a 8:.<5M ma&e sure it is in the
drive first. +o open the .+A) ta'le file sele$t 5pen +a'le from the MapInfo 6ile menu!
navigate to the folder $ontaining it! sele$t it and $li$& 57. Bou ma need to repeat step 2
%hen the .+A) file is reopened.
