Dear Mr./Ms.

,

We are a new, Edmonton-based film festival co-produced by the Film and Video Arts
Society of Alberta (FAVA) and Pattison Onestop. This unique style of film festival, accepting
one-minute, silent films will reach nearly 71,000 commuters on Edmontons LRT system daily
during its week long run, exposing the community to various forms creative media art. Selected
films will also be screened in the Gotta Minute Screening Room at the Edmonton Public Stanley
Milner Library and to the global community on the Gotta Minute website. To enhance the
experience for the festival winners and to support their further development as visual media
artists, we are seeking your support for awards and prizes.

FAVA is a not-for-profit, charitable society that exists to facilitate and support the
creation and exhibition of independent film, video and media arts in Northern Alberta. Our
ambition is to offer excellent and nationally recognized resources and opportunities to a diverse
community of artists, to create and showcase independent film, video and media art. Without
community support, we would not be able to fulfill our commitment to our members and we
would not be able to make the Gotta Minute Film Festival a success. Although the film festival
is open to national and international submissions as well, FAVA values the growth of the global
film community as a whole.

In return, we would like to offer our ability to market your company logo at all of our
events, on our website and in our programs. All of our major sponsors will also be included on
our film festival reel to be shown on the Pattison Onestop LRT screens during the week of the
festival. Various levels of sponsorship are provided in the attached document.

Sincerely,
Beth Wishart Mackenzie
Coordinator, Gotta Minute Film Festival
