James worked on the Human Genome Project
1990s technology really boomed.

From 1988-1992, James Watson ran the
Human Genome Project.
During this time, Watson made his
discovery.
His first text book, Molecular Biology of the Cell

James was awarded for his discovery.
He was awarded the Nobel Prize for
Physiology and Medicine
If James Watson never created an
accurate model of DNA we would never
be able to completely understand how
DNA works. Without discovering the way
DNA, Charles Darwin would never be
able to understand evolution. DNA is our
essential key code to knowing how
genes are paced down and mutated
(change).
