POETRY

She seemed so happy all of the time.


Her smile was like sunshine.
I often wish I could be as happy as she.
But it never appeared to me,
that one day she would slit her wrist.
I guess the warning signs I missed.
How she would wear shades on cloudy days.
I mean some days her arm she could barely raise.
The times she never went to lunch.
I didn't know she was being punched.
By the man she praise so much.
I thought he had a gentle touch.
She always wore that beautiful smile on her face.
I am sorry she's gone nobody can take her place.
