A systems analyst is a specialist in analyzing and designing

information systems for an organization. He plays a key role in


seizing the vision of the stakeholders funding the proposed project.
The main roles played down by the systems analyst in general are in
the following order. Firstly, he is supposed to understand the
eisting system in an organisation and look for drawbacks in it.
!econdly, make plans to overcome the problems by laying down
solutions. Thirdly, recommends software and systems for up
gradation.

the need for technology to integrate di1erent parts of organization
as a whole.
The !ystem2s Analyst come2s up with di1erent solution2s and
develops a preliminary statement of bene3ts and then including the
speci3c funding cost2s and its dollar bene3ts. The new evolved
system will help better communication between the di1erent
departments and its sub division2s. /t would make data sharing and
maintaining record2s easier and cost4e1ective.
