What is a verbal?
A verbal is a verb that can be used as an
adjective or noun.
The 3 types:

O -Participles (Past and
Present)
O -Gerunds
O -Infinitives
Participles
Its a type of verbal that functions as an
adjective. There are two types of participles and
they are present and past participles

Principles
O Past Participles-Already happened.
1) I ran to the park
2) I swam to shore

O Present Participles-Happening now.
1)I am running to the park
2) I am swimming to shore
Gerunds
O Its a type of verbal that is a noun made
from a verb. They always end in ing

Examples:
1)running
2)texting
3)walking
Infinitives
A verb in basic form, its the base form of a
verb. Its what you will see in a dictionary.
This is a type of verbal.

Example:
1) I swim every week.
2) She walks every day
3)I sleep daily.
