1. Executive Producer-Head producer who oversees the creation of a film, television


show, radio broadcast, music album or theater performance.
2. Producer-a person responsible for the financial and managerial aspects of making of a
movie or broadcast or for staging a play, opera.
3. Screenwriter- a person who writes a screenplay.
4. Unit Production Manager - (UPM) is the Directors Guild of Americaapproved title for
the top below-the-line staff position responsible for the administration of a feature film or
TV production.

the director to make the shooting schedule efficient as possible.

AD - In charge of making sure everything is where it is supposed to be when it's
supposed to be there.
8. Casting Director - the person responsible for assigning roles in a movie, play, or
other production.
9. Script Supervisor- a member of a film crew responsible for maintaining the motion
picture's internal continuity and for recording the production unit's daily progress in
shooting the film's screenplay.
10. Director of Photography- the chief over the camera and lighting crews working on a
film, television production or other live action piece and is responsible for achieving
artistic and technical decisions related to the image.

AC- the chief assistant to the camera operator.

Assistant Camera- is primarily responsible for loading and unloading the new rolls
of film into the different magazines, as well as maintaining and filling out all the camera
reports for the film lab.
14. Sound Mixer - is the member of a film crew or television crew responsible for recording
all sound recording on set during the filmmaking or television production using professional
audio equipment, for later inclusion in the finished product, or for reference to be used by the
sound designer, sound effects editors, or foley artists. This requires choice and deployment
of microphones, choice of recording media, and mixing of audio signals in real time.
15. Boom Operator - is an assistant of the production sound mixer.
16. Production Designer - are the visual artists and storytellers, who, in consultation
primarily with the director, create and develop the overall look, atmosphere and emotion
that move the story.
17. Art Director - is the title for a variety of similar job functions in theater, advertising,
marketing, publishing, film and television, the Internet, and video games.
18. Set Dresser - is the person who chooses all of the objects on the set.
19. Props Master - is an artistic and organizational employee in a film, television or
theatrical production who is responsible for purchasing, acquiring and/or manufacturing
any props needed for a production.
20. Gaffer the chief electrician in a motion-picture or television production unit.
21. Best Boy Electrician - assistants to their department heads.
22. Key Grip - the person in a film crew who is in charge of the camera equipment.
23. Dolly Grip - is a dedicated technician trained to operate the camera dolly.
24. Special Effects Artist - unusual visual and sound effects beyond the range of
normal photography or recording, as simulated fires or earthquakes,
explosions, thunder and lightning, miniaturized or enlarged images, or
other optical or electronic distortions
25. Visual Effects Artist - are the various processes by which imagery is created and/or
manipulated outside the context of a live action shot.
26. Editor- a person who is in charge of and determines the final content of a text.
27. Production Manager - in charge of the technical crew.
28. Sound Recordist - Member of the sound crew responsible for operating the audio
recording equipment on a set.
29. Make-up/ Costumes the person in charge of dressing and doing the actress/actors
makeup.
