Invite you to a fundraiser event in support of Study Abroad Opportunities

for undeserved African American and Latino students.

African Americans represent 14 percent of all college students. Yet only 3.5
percent participate in study abroad programs on average. The figures are
similar for Latino Students. Conversely, 67 percent of all college students are
white, yet they participate in education abroad programs at a rate of over 83
percent on average.

IERCEF, The Norh Carolina HBCU Study Abroad Consortium, The Cross
Cultural Center in Santo Domingo, and Amistad America are partnering to
correct this alarming problem.
