The Problem with Democracy is People

Overall, I found Tytlers Ideas about how democratic nations are born and destroyed to be very
thought provoking. Though I would argue upon some of the semantics of his argument in the areas of
time, I dont find all that he writes to be entirely false. Moreover, I agree with a vast majority of it. The
American people have let themselves become an example of this, and the slow descent is merely
moments away. Though I wish not to overly expound upon my beliefs and force them on others, I feel
that they hold relevance in this instance. From this, I go forward saying that it is disgusting to see people
debate and plea and rally for so-called Rights. We as humans are a people filled with wrong and are
never genuinely good; therefore we all deserve nothing. It is then folly to argue over the necessity of
such made up things as Rights. They are, in my opinion the downfall of humankind. I agree that there
are certain ways that people should and should not act, but I there is no certain way that people deserve
to be treated. The difference is that of punishing actions or misactions against others rather than over a
violation of Rights. It is from this that I derive my idea of agreement with Tytlers words. Because man
has forgotten his oppression and that which is bad, he cannot make decisions that are good.
