Prayer Service


Opening Prayer

Stir up the will of your faithful, we pray, O Lord,
that, striving more eagerly to bring your divine work to fruitful
completion, they may receive in greater measure
the healing remedies your kindness bestows.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.


Matthew 28:18-20

Lord Jesus, you have baptized us in your life and made us partakers of your divine
nature. We ask that you bestow your abundant grace to assit us in living as your
children. For this we pray to the LordLord Hear Our Prayer

You call us to proclaim and to teach all nations all that you have commanded; may
the Holy Spirit speak to the hearts of your people drawing them closer to you. For
this we pray to the Lord


Luke 1:4

Lord, we have been and continue to be instructed in your ways. Give us a continual
desire to know you and your ways more fully. For this we pray to the Lord
Acts 18:25
We pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit to increase our fervor in our hearts and
in our daily lives. For this we pray to the Lord
1 Corinthians 14:19
As disciples of Christ we ask the Holy Spirit to speak His words of truth and life to
those we instruct. For this we pray to the Lord.

Galatians 6:6
Father God you bless us with your abundant gifts and we thank you. May we share
all these gifts with those you put in our path so that you can be praised and glorified.
For this we pray to the Lord

Longing for the Kingdom of Heaven we pray the pray Christ has taught us, Our Father.

Closing Prayer

On the Eve of the Feast of St. Andrew we pray:

We humbly implore your majesty, O Lord, that, just as the blessed
Apostle Andrew was for your Church a preacher and pastor,
so he may be for us a constant intercessor before you.
Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and
reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God,
for ever and ever.
