Different Numbering Scheme Different Numbering Scheme Different Numbering Scheme Different Numbering Scheme
OPEN Numbering Scheme
The open numbering scheme is followed in the stages
of the network where the exchange either routes the
call to a TANDEM/TAX and not aware of the details of
numbering scheme/number length of the destination.
CLOSE Numbering Scheme
The closed numbering scheme is followed in the
stages of the network where the exchange either
terminates the call or routes the call directly to a
terminating exchange and is aware of the details of
numbering scheme/number length of the destination.

SUGGESTION SUGGESTION SUGGESTION SUGGESTION
Always create Two or Three smaller size TGPs with
TENs from Two/Three BMs. TGP choice in rotating order
for different route codes and for different priorities.
(Advantage: Processor Load & Trunk Selection Time
will Decrease considerably)
For Non-Metered Special Service routes, Non-Metered
type CRG-RTN should be given instead of PRD-TAX.
End-to-End MF Signalling can be adopted, wherever
possible.
Use proper TGP-TYPE and EXCH-TYPE.
