DRR learning is effective when it allows for recipients to rethink how they can prepare for and to disaster threats. This can be achieved via creative and stimulating resources that allow questions and solutions to be thought about, leaving the learner with a greeter deal of self efficacy and deeper level learning. This presentation was a joint STREVA (Strengthening Risk in Volcanic Areas) and EWF (Earthquakes Without Frontiers) as part of the Increasing Resilience to Natural Hazards initiative at University College London - the picture to the left! In order to engage my audience with the subject matter I used prezi presentation software instead of the usual (Death By) Powerpoint. The original can be seen by searching for edu4drr on prezi!
