Color Theory Book

By: John Bizzell

Color is important in design because it can bring emotions to people and afect how
people act or respond. For example, red is typically used when communicating with some-
one you love because of the fact that red stimulates faster heartbeats and breathing. Blue is
the most popular color among humans. It is peaceful and calming, but is also cold and de-
pressing. Color can also attract people to buy your products. If you have it in their favorite
color, or the design has a nice blend of colors, it will most likely bring in better sales for your
product.
