CARIES INCIDENCE OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHILDREN IN RURAL AREA

ABSTRACT
Objective : The objective of this study were was to see measure the caries incidence
prevalence and severity of elementary school children aged 6-12 years in a rural area of
Indonesia (WHICH PART??). Method : This was a cross sectional observational study with
cross sectional approach. A cluster sample of 336 children studying in two rural elementary
schools rural area was selected. Caries incidence prevalence and severity wereas measured
by using the caries index or DMF-T and def-t indexindices. Results : Caries index (The def-t)
of elementary school children who aged 6-9 years old was 4,58. DMF-T of elementary school
children who aged 10-12 years old was 3,48. DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER RESULTS TO
REPORT? WHAT WAS THE PREVALENCE OF CARIES?????? PLEASE INCLUDE THE STANDARD
DEVIATIONS. Conclusion : Caries incidence prevalence and severity of elementary school
children in rural areas of Indonesia (which area??) was were high.
