1.1 INTRODUCTION
Indian construction industry is more labor intensive as compared to other
developed countries. It is among the largest sectors that generates employment within
the country. Overruns in the construction are indicators of productivity problems.
Most of the projects experience cost overruns due to labor productivity problems.
Looking to the current scenario of continuous downfall of construction
problem, this study mainly aims at analyzing the causes of cost overruns due to low
labor productivity at construction site, find correlation between these factors &
develop a predictive model that will determine the impact of these factors on cost
overruns on construction sites.

1.2 NEED OF THE PROJECT
To have a knowledge base of the latest equipments availability in the
modern construction industry
To improve productivity in the construction industry
Proper maintenance of construction equipment.
Cost analysis of different construction activity is necessary for
knowing the impact and benefits of mechanisation in the constrction

1.3 AIM
To study about the latest equipment used in High Rise Structures and analysis
of the cost of indentified equipment with respect their productivity and time
required.
1.4 SCOPE
