Madam:

I hereby signify my intention to file a leave of absence starting July 11, 2011 until the end of this
semester and shall take effect immediately upon approval of your good office. This is in relation
to my Pre-Bar Review at San Beda College in preparation for the upcoming bar examinations
which will be held on November 2011.

I have made some arrangements with my immediate superior regarding the distribution and
assignment of my teaching load which was previously assigned to me in a manner less
prejudicial to the welfare of the my students and the school as well. I have accepted my teaching
load for this semester in the belief that my review which commenced April 2011 will end before
the opening of our classes. However, due to some circumstances beyond my control and the fact
that the 2011 bar exam was moved from September to November, there were some adjustments
in our review schedules which I did not anticipate beforehand. I understand that this may cause
inconvenience on the part of the school, in consequence I am humbly asking for your
consideration and understanding.
