GIVING by Elizabeth Solayao

Giving is truly the noblest thing in Earth a person could do. For one cannot give what he does
not possess. Or just like the saying, you cannot give what you do not have. And in giving to
others, piece by piece we give ourselves too. And sometimes to the point that we wholly lose
ourselves. But that is where the nobility truly lies. Because we never wait or expect any in
return.

And that is the characteristic I admire most with the noodle man/ entrepreneur. He paid what the
boy robbed without second thoughts or verifying whether the boys sob story is true, if his mom
is truly true. And he even goes out of his way and gave the boy some soup and not just some
left over. Later on we see that even after many years, their business is still there and almost
nothing has change. With that I conclude that, they do not earn that much and just get by every
day. But still the noodle man never hesitates to give to those who are in need.

And the last thing about giving, base on the film, for me, is influencing and inspiring others. All of
his kindness has been return to him and he never even expected it.

You can love without giving but you cannot give without loving.
