The Cr-free GI Steel of Posco, production code NC, is environmental-friendly hotdip

galvanized steel which is adopted special post-treatment to substitute conventional
chromate treatment. The Cr-free GI Steel is coated with organic-inorganic
composite resin to enhance corrosion resistance on the zinc surface and provided more
than 72hr by salt spray (The experiment condition is the condition of JIS Z2371) test in
the anti-corrosion resistance. The corrosion resistance of Poscos Cr-free GI Steel is equal
to Conventional chromate treatment GIs. (We guarantee Plain SST : 72Hr white rust
5% , SST after Erichsen Drawing: 48Hr white rust 5% )
