What is the issue in my class

I found that my pupils are not able to spell
words correctly.
How did I find the problem ??
It is based on the first term
examination result.
My Research Question
How can I help my Year 1 Satria pupils to
improve their spelling.
My plans
Looking for activities that might help to
overcome the problem.
Objectives of Research
To enable the pupils to spell words correctly.

To help the pupils to write words correctly.

To help the pupils to write sentences with 3-5
words correctly.
What I have done so far

I talked to my mentor and discussed about the
matter in order to find ways to help my pupils
to perform better and improve my
development as a teacher.
These are the things that I have done so far..
1. Online Research
* Looking for some journals or any other
sources that might give me the ideas to work
on my project.
2. Share the problem with other colleagues and
mentees. Get their opinion and tips regarding
the issue.
3. Talk to my KP and get her cooperation in
order to carry out my project.
4. Shared the problem and things that I plan to
do during English Panel Meeting.
5. Change some of my teaching strategies as
well as my teaching techniques.
6. Identify the pupils strength and weaknesses in
order to cater their needs in learning.
7. Still in progress.

What will I do next ?
Since everything is still in progress I will
continue carrying out my plans and
looking forward to this meeting to get
some new ideas.
