Unit 5: Task 1b

Vibe Productions are producing a television show that will be aimed at 14-16 year old
students.

The aim of the production is to reveal the dangers of drinking and drugs. It must focus
specifically on the Reading/Henley Area.

It will be aired on Channel 4 at 7pm every night for one week, following on from Hollyoaks.

The production must be less than 3 minutes in length, an ideal time would be 2 minutes 26
seconds. It must include an opening sequence and end credits, which we will provide for
you.

Key points to be included in the production:
Information on 4 different types of drugs (Marijuana, Cocaine, Methadone, and Heroine)
Interviews with people who have used these drugs (Their faces must be hidden for
protection)
Expert analysis on the effects of each of these drugs
Statistics on the death rate of each of these drugs
Statistics on how many people use these drugs and at what age they use them

The layout and order of the production along with the interviewees will be left up to you.

The production must be completed by the 2
