- Hard disk drive, the fastest HDD right now is the SDD.
2. What is the fastest type of RAM available right now?
- The fastest type of RAM available is DDR4
3. In general, what is the purpose of computer ports?
-Computer port serves as the interface between computers or secondary
devices
4. Who invented USB, and why was it so revolutionary?
-Ajay V. Bhatt invented the USB and it was revolutionary because can store
more data and transfer faster than much larger optical disc drives like CD-
RW or DVD-RW drives and can be read by many other systems such as the
ps3, DVD players and in a number of handheld devices such as
smartphones and tablet computers.
5. Who invented Firewire, and why did it fnally die?
- Apple and Sony invented Firewire and it died because USB was faster
and more convenient.
6. Why is HDMI better than DVI or VGA ports?
-HDMI is better because it can carry audio & video data through cable.
7. Why did Apple take so long to support HDMI? USB 3.0?
-Because it used its own port called Firewire that supported similar function
and they had better control over their products.
8. Who invented blu-Ray? What was the other standard that blu-Ray killed
even though many people said it was better?
-SONY invented Blu-Ray. It killed HD & DVD.
