That Council authorizes the Director of Public Service and Safety to advertise for bids and enter into a
contract for the Marina Building improvements that are part of the Riverfront Development Project.
BACKGROUND:
The plans for the renovation of the Marina Building improvements are nearly complete. The bidding of
this part of the project in the amount of $1,000,000 was included in the recent Reappropriation
Ordinance approved by Council.
REQUESTED ACTION:
It would be appreciated if you would assign to a Committee of Council consideration of authoring the
Director of Public Service and Safety to advertise for bids and enter into a contract for the Marina
Building improvements at a cost not to exceed $1,000,000.
