Preparation of Papers in Two-Column Format

Abstract - These instructions give you the basic guidelines
for preparing papers for IEEE conference proceedings.
Index Terms - List key index terms here. No mare than 5.

1our goal is to simulate the usual appearance of papers in
IEEE conference proceedings( For items not addressed in
these instructions$ please refer to the last issue of your
conference2s proceedings for reference or as" your conference

!, Paper Si-e3 Prepare your paper in full-si4e format on
0S letter si4e paper 56(7 by 11 inches8(
", .ype Si-es and .ypefaces3 Follow the font type si4es
specified in Table I( The font type si4es are gi9en in points$
same as in the !S :ord font si4e points( Times ,ew -oman
is the preferred font(
#, Paper /argins3 Paper margins on the 0S letter si4e
paper are set as follows3 top ; <(=7 inches$ bottom ; 1 inch$
side ; <(>?7 inches( Each column measures @(7 inches wide$
with a <(?7-inch gap between the two columns(
$, Paper Styles3 Aeft- and right-%ustify the columns( .n
the last page of your paper$ ad%ust the lengths of the columns
so that they are eBual( 0se automatic hyphenation and chec"
spelling and grammar( 0se high resolution 5@<<dpi or abo9e8
figures$ plots$ drawings and photos for best printing result(

Try to position figures and tables at the tops and bottoms
of columns and a9oid placing them in the middle of columns(
Aarge figures and tables may span across both columns(
Figure captions should be centered below the figuresI table
captions should be centered abo9e( C9oid placing figures and
tables before their first mention in the teDt( 0se the
abbre9iation JFig( K$L e9en at the beginning of a sentence(
Figure aDis labels are often a source of confusion( 0se
words rather than symbols( For eDample$ as shown in Fig( 1$
