shifted in her bed, giggled, blushed with all the silliness of 16 year old. She would get out of

the jealous faces.
3. A loud thud came from inside the house, Ilene stiffened, pulse quickened. The thud followed
a muffled a howl. Ilene scrambled to the floor and rushed towards the door, afraid to open.
Whimpers filled the silence, her heart picked up the pace while fear drained her of her
strength, her hand on the handle. Another painful cry ripened her fear which exuded in
uncontrollable sobs. Silence felled once again, the air was heavy. She found herself
hyperventilating.

5. Ilene couldnt breathe, sharp breaths, jerky movements. She frantically looked around, Hide

6. Morbid thoughts slithered into her mind. No, No, please. In an uncontrollable frenzy her
eyes riveted on the window lock. I can get out She jumped towards the window. Her palsied
hands fumbled with the lock. Door burst open, she cringed and the bolt opened. She glanced
back. Peered into the red eyes of the Khof, epitome of foolishness, Ilene fainted.
