- words used to join two sentences :


and, but, because, so, or, when, after,
before, as, as well as, until, although,
since, unless, etc.
Examples :
1. Puan Suzliana went to the market. She
bought a big fish.

2. Rama could not come to the party. Rama
was sick.
Rama could not come to the party
because he was sick.

3. It was going to rain. He took along
an umbrella.
It was going to rain so he took along
an umbrella.
4. It was raining. Karim arrived early
Although it was raining, Karim arrived
early.
