1.ThisdocumentisabouttheU.Sconstitution.

Itshowswhatsortofjobssomeofthe
brancheshaveandwhattypeofrightsthestateandpeopleget.

2.OnejobtheLegislativebranchhasisthattheCongresshavethepowertolayandcollect
taxes,duties,impostsandexcises,topaythedebts,andprovideforthecommondefence
andgeneralwelfareofthestates.TheycanalsoestablishanuniformRuleofNaturalization
anduniformlawsonthesubjectofbankruptciesthroughouttheU.S.Theyalsodefineand
punishpiraciesandfeloniescommittedonthehighseasandoffensesagainsttheLawof
Nations.

3.TheexecutivepowerisvestedtothePresidentoftheUnitedStates.Thepresidentshall
bethecommanderinchiefoftheArmyandNavyoftheUnitedStateswhencalledintothe
actualserviceoftheUnitedStates.Healsohasthepower,byandwiththeadviceand
consentofthesenate,tomaketreaties.

4.&5.TheJudicialpowerisextendedtoallcasesinlawandequity,thelawsoftheUnited
States,andtreatiesmade,orsoontobemade,undertheirauthority.

6.Iftwothirdsofthecongressthinksthattheconstitutionneedstobechanged,an
amendmentwillbeproposedandiftheproposedamendmentisratifiedbythreefourthsof
thestates,thanit'sconsideredapartoftheconstitution.

7.Freedomofspeech,freedomofpress,petition,peaceforassemblyandreligion

8.ThepowersnotdelegatedtotheUnitedStatesbytheConstitution,norprohibitedbyitto
theStates,arereservedtotheStatesrespectively,ortothepeople.
