Once upon a time, there lived

a donkey, a dog, a cat and a

rooster.

The donkey was big and
strong.


The dog was friendly and
brave.

The cat was clever and
playful.

The rooster was loud and
cheerful.

They left their homes to
become musicians. They
walked for a long time. They
were hungry, thirsty and
tired.

Finally, they saw a little
house.


The donkey looked through
the window. Three men were
eating in the house.


The animals wanted to sing
for the men to get some food.
So, the dog stood on the
donkey. The cat stood on the
dog. The rooster stood on the
cat. Then, they started to
sing.
Hee-haw! Hee-haw!
Woof! Woof!
Meow! Meow!
Cock-a-doodle-do! Cock-a-
doodle-do!

And they made such a
horrible sound.

The three men, who were the
robbers, shocked and ran
away.

Ohhhh! It is a ghost! Run!


Then, the four friends
laughed and sat down at the
table. They ate and ate.

And the four musicians lived
in the house happily ever
after.
