The Second Attack

Its been a week since the first attack and I cant say
Im glad for the time. Sure, we had more training
time but having to worry about attacks or worse
when the capital B Battle is going to happen.
Yeah. We have no clue about when it is.
See, we havent ever fought one. Especially one that
can change the course of magical history.
So we just wait. And prepare. And take precautions.
And have someone else take the cred.
I look towards the entrance, thinking about going to
Centre 8 when I saw a flash of red.
Another attack.
There goes my idea for a peaceful time at the plant
centre.
I ran back to Kays cabin.
Uh, interested in the fact that theres an attack
going on? I asked
Kay didnt respond. She just grabbed her sword and
ran out.
Its at the entrance again, I yelled after her.
Just then, Alex came out of her cabin.
Whats at the entrance?
Attack. Would you be kind enough to call.
Pointless. She ran off at the word attack.
What was I, the one who ran around alerting people?
I sighed and banged on Mels door.
Attack, I said when she opened the door.
Go on, Ill come in a minute
Yay. I ran towards the entrance and what I saw was
not good.
Lexy, the girl who was on guard duty was lying on
the ground, seriously injured.
Kay and Alex were the only ones fighting. What they
were fighting..
