comes of age in the wild, fighting for his survival and that of the
three yearling dogs who follow him. But his need to face his father's

STEALING MONA LISA

The charming Eduardo de Valfierno makes a very respectable living
in Argentina fleecing the nouveau rich - they pay him to steal
valuable pieces of art, and Valfierno sells them flawless forgeries
instead. But when Eduardo meets the beautiful Mrs. Hart on his
latest con, he takes a risk that forces him back to the city he loved
and left behind - Paris. There he assembles his team of con artists
for their final and most ambitious theft, one that will enable them to
leave the game forever: The Mona Lisa.

But when a member of the team turns up missing, and Mr. Hart
shows up in Paris, Valfierno and his crew must stay one step ahead
of a relentless police inspector, endure a devastating flood, and
conquer their own doubts to keep the priceless painting in play -
and survive.

Based on the actual theft of the Mona Lisa from the Louvre in 1911,
and published on the 100th anniversary of the crime, Stealing Mona
Lisa is a sophisticated, engaging caper, complete with a richly
imagined group of con artists and a historical mystery that will keep
you guessing until the very end.

THE BLACKHOUSE

When a grisly murder occurs on the Isle of Lewis that has the
hallmarks of a killing he's investigating on the mainland, Edinburgh
detective and native islander Fin Macleod is dispatched to see if the
two deaths are connected. His return after nearly two decades not
only represents a police investigation, but a voyage into his own
troubled past. As Fin reconnects with the places and people of his
tortured childhood, he feels the island once again asserting its grip
on his psyche. And every step forward in solving the murder takes
him closer to a dangerous confrontation with the tragic events of
the past that shaped - and nearly destroyed - Fin's life.

The Blackhouse is a thriller of rare power and vision that explores
the darkest recesses of the soul.

BLACK FRIDAYS

Jason Stafford is a former Wall Street hotshot who made some bad
moves, paid the price with two years in prison, and is now trying to
put his life back together. Hes unemployable, until an investment
firm asks him to look into possible problems left by a junior trader
who died recently in an accident. What he discovers is big there
are problems, all right, the kind that get you killed.

But its not his only concern. Stafford has another quest as well: to
reclaim his five-year-old son, "the Kid," from his unstable ex-wife,
and then learn just what it means to make a life with him. The
things Stafford discovers about himself in the process are every bit
as gripping as his investigation, and when the two threads of his life
come together the results are unforgettable.

ENCHANTED

It isn't easy being the rather overlooked and unhappy youngest
sibling to sisters named for the other six days of the week.
Sunday's only comfort is writing stories, although what she writes
has a terrible tendency to come true.

When Sunday meets an enchanted frog who asks about her stories,
the two become friends. Soon that friendship deepens into
something magical. One night Sunday kisses her frog goodbye and
leaves, not realizing that her love has transformed him back into
Rumbold, the crown prince of Arilland - and a man Sunday's family
despises.

The prince returns to his castle, intent on making Sunday fall in love
with him as the man he is, not the frog he was. But Sunday is not
so easy to woo.
