Genre: Drama- a story that is acted out in front of people or an audience. A drama can be a play, a puppet show, a song, or a dance story that a person on a stage performs for a group of people. Skill: Problem & Solution: The main character in a story usually has a problem that needs to be solved. The steps the character takes to solve the problem make up the storys events, the plot of the story. Strategy: Make Predictions: When you read, use story details to make predictions about what will happen. Vocabulary Strategy: Suffixes: A word part added to the end of a word to change its meaning.
