Understanding Angles

We use three capital letters to name an angle. One letter is for the vertex and the other two letters are
for the points on both sides of the angle. The sides are the two rays that form the angle.
The endpoint or vertex is always at the middle when three points are used to name the angle.
Example:
We say: Angle BNC
We write: BNC
We can also name the angle by just one letter and the letter must be the vertex of the angle. So the
angle BNC can also be named angle N.

A device that measures angle is a protractor and the unit used is degree ()
Different kinds of angle:
Right angle = 90
Acute angle = less than 90
Obtuse angle = more than 90
Straight angle = 180
Reflex angle = more than 180
