Usually had liege lord that was first priority.
Dukes and counts had second authority.
A persons status determined their prestige and power.
Loyalty is what they pledged to higher power.
In village manor was 15-30 peasants families.
Structure of a feudal system was like a pyramid.
Many children did not survive till adulthood.
