(CNN) -- Perhaps the most frightening statistic attached to Lionel Messi is the fact that he's only 26.
Another day, another record broken.
Messi became Barcelona's all-time leading scorer Sunday after his hat-trick helped Tata Martino's
team to a 7-0 victory over Osasuna.

Messi, who has now scored 371 goals, eclipsed the record set by Paulino Alcantara, who scored
369 goals in 357 appearances between 1912-1927.
It is the sixth consecutive season in which he has scored 30 goals -- not bad for a man who has
been accused of not reaching the exorbitant levels which he has set in years past.

If he does he will only have Telmo Zarra to beat to become the man with more goals in the
Spanish league than any other in the competitions history.
But for now he can savour the treble that made him the clubs all-time top scorer in all matches.
Alcntara got most of his goals in the 1920s in friendlies and Catalan Championship matches
before La Liga was formed but he still appeared in club record books as its top scorer until
Messi went past him aged just 26.
Messi told Spanish TV: 'People want me to continue here then I will. My intention is to retire
here. I'm very happy.'

This is informative text because it has statistics upon a football player. Also it tells news, for
example how many goals Messi scored the last game, how many goals did FC Barcelona
scored in the last game and so on.
