Rainy Day Dismissal Procedures

We will make a decision by 2:45 (we will announce and post on website)
All Hands on Deck! Anyone off duty on a rainy day must report to car
rider/walker duty areas to assist. When your assigned area is clear please
move to car rider/walker areas to assist further with dismissal.
Voice Level 0 for students in all hallways. (Please bring stickers, stamps, or
use high fives to praise students during dismissal.)
Bus Rider and Day Care dismissal will remain the same. (KRK: If it is pouring,
all KRK students will walk through main hallway to Hallway 4 to be
dismissed.)
WALKERS: All walkers will be seated in lines, by grade level, by walker door.

grade Walker groups along with any other OE sibling groups should be
seated together with youngest in group.) 5

grade walkers arriving via the
Pony Express will be escorted to the walker line when they arrive.
CAR RIDERS: (Please seat siblings together with youngest in group)
KINDER & FIRST: Will be seated in the front lobby with pathway to main hall
left open.
o Kinder will be seated on the right side by the restroom. (Blue tile area)

will be seated on the left side of the lobby near the library. (Blue tile
area)
SECOND: Will be seated in front of mural in main hallway.
THIRD: Will be seated in front of the display case across from the library.
FOURTH: Will be seated between the yellow and blue tiles across from Mrs.
Threatts office.
