The NSA (National Security Agency) is keeping/kept an eye in/on the internet on what we
publish in different social medias. Also they cracked passwords and stole mail addresses.
Another thing they did was that they were listening to telephone calls of different
people. They were even listening to telephone calls of politicians. Also the NSA were
listening to our phone calls.

Another thing about privacy is that WhatsApp reads the messages you are sending to
your friends. Also WhatsApp is listening to the phone calls you are making, uses your
address book/contacts and views the pictures you have on your phone.

Of course there are some ways how to avoid that.
Examples:
In 2014 several times passwords and mail addresses were stolen.
Mainly Russia-based users were affected.
About 60% of the stolen accounts were/are active.
