Dear Brenda Mangum:
It gives me infinite pleasure to introduce myself and put forth my
candidacy for the Pre School Teacher position for Holbrook Unified
School District located on the Navajo Reservation. I send my application
in reference to the job vacancy advertisement posted on the Arizona
Education Department board. I believe I have the qualifications and the
potential to do more than handle this positon; I am looking for an
opportunity to prove my abilities.
I have the experience of a total of 1 year working as a preschool teacher. I
began my career as a tutor for America Reads. For my senior year of
college, I was a student teacher in tw0 different but both amazing
settings; I worked within a special education classroom and a typical
education class. My experience has opened my eyes to better understand
the patience and compassion required for working with chil0dren. I am
confident that I can look after the children in a responsible manner. I can
assure you that I am very open minded and creative. I will be able to
expand my students horizons by introducing activities such as music,
arts, crafts, dance and dram during my teaching career.
