Biographical Information Joel Kasparian has studied and taught topics related to Mormonism for over 30 years and has held a variety of ecclesiastical positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He is currently serving as the bishop of a ward (congregation) in Hacienda Heights, California.
Kasparian served a two-year mission for the Mormon Church in Ecuador and has traveled, worked and studied extensively in Mexico, South American and the Middle East. He is fluent in Spanish and studied Arabic in Jordan and Egypt. He holds a BA Degree in International Relations and an MPA with emphasis in International Development.
