Meets THE NEW CLEO GIRL MAFUANG: A happy girl
who believe in writing magic for others-happy-girl

People enjoyed reading a magazine, especially for girls. There are so many girls
magazines out there in the market. To say that, the nature of young women mostly
pursued by their confident, and the magazine can make it happen.

For this girl, a 22-year-old brand-new columnist of CLEO Magazine Thailand, had her
girly dream, sensual believe, full of positive passion, and the most important thing she
want to share her mind/experience and spread it through her words from girl-to-girl, I
love the arts of put everything I see, or feel into words. I am an experience discovered, I
like to meet new people and write it through the words descriptively. I love to read
magazine, and I know I wanted to be part of it.

The privileges of being a columnist is to get to know more about people that I cant
actually get to know them in real life. Learning about these people in different aspects of
life and always amazed me, Mafuang a graduated CU student in Communication Arts
has said. In this interview, you will get to know about her background, interests,
accomplishments, and perspective of life that lead her to become an optimistically-happy-
magazine lover girl.

When I first walked to CLEO Thailand office, which located in Phra Kanonong area As
a man, I felt a little hypnotized with all pink decoration of the office, oh but thats okay,
we were at CLEO The No.1 best-selling woman magazine in Thailand. Our readers
verities from high school students to the first-jobber. Fans of our magazine love us
because our own unique style that lovely and not too serious! There are so many serious
MAFUANG, a 22-young-columist at CLEO Magazine, Thailand.

things of life out there. So, We aim to entertain as well as relax them with interesting or
touching issues we have in every magazine issue.
After we sat, and talked a little bit about the magazine Mafuang, a newest columnist of
the magazine told me she currently a bit busy with the annual-magazine project CLEO 50
Eligible Bachelors 2014, Ive responsible to be selected, and picked many Bangkok-
dreamy-guys this year. That would be the most toughest-but-sweetest job Ive
experienced so far! (Laughing)

At the first 5-minute of an interview, I saw her eyes were sparkly energetically when she
said, and her voice sounded enthusiastically when she talked. I questioned to my thought,
an ordinary young lady that have to meet many masculine males may feel less confident
during this task but not for Mafuang, Im outgoing and friendly. Meeting new people
give me so much inspiration in life.

Mafuangs 4-year university life at Nitade Chula was extraordinary, and completely
shaped her to become such an active-outgoing young lady. During studied at Nitade
Chula, I love to involved with activities with lots of people. My most favorite activity in
university was performing on a stage play. Its so fun and know more friends, She was
one of the most participated student in the activities than others colleague of her year.
Mafuang joined almost every activities that faculty possibly offered: from a student
committee, to the actress and ensemble in musical plays, I love to talk and love to act. I
always wanted to be an actress when I was little. I perform many role plays just for fun in
my free time but I did take an acting class once,

She told me a funny story about herself during her school year, as a cheer staff in
freshman orientation activity, Because my face looks fierce and scary these might be
the reason why I participated as a cheer staff. Somehow that people usually dont want to
talk to me first, but once when they get to know me, they would be so shocked how crazy
and nonsense I am! To tell you the truth, I was one of freshman student that once
experienced her in a senior cheer staff role, trust me she looked so scary back then, but
not for now. We both laughed out loud throughout her story at Nitade.

For her writing charisma, Mafuang shined her magic as an online blogger since she was
only a university student. It reflected on her skilled in both reading and writing are
distinctive, and always been in her interest and passion, I love to write. I have my online
blog so it helped me to pursue my career as a writer. Apart from many activities she
involved, an important lesson from being a Communication Arts student was writing and
journalism. During my university years, my favorite classes were always about
something to do with writing. I love the arts of put everything I see or feel into words.
The privileges of being a columnist is to get to know more about people that I cant
actually get to know them in real life. Learning about these people in different aspects of
life and always amazed me.

She made me realize the magic of writing and being a writer. It is inevitable to say that
writing is her real talent, Its so fun and know more friends by many others activities I
involved, but the most confident thing to do alone is a simple writing, She added.

To begin her writing career, I wondered Why CLEO? Because I am girl, and a girl
loves CLEO, Mafuang replied undoubtedly. Its not just a magazine. CLEO is an
inspiration for women and girls. We want to inspired woman to think positive and beauty
woman inside. Take care of themselves to look good and think optimistically. Whatever
happened to woman, she has to move on and live happily start from herself. We dont
make a magazine, but a real treasure for it girl, She stated that there are true different
gaps between the role of being a maker, and a reader. When I was a reader, its like
waiting for the magazines to be sold and bought it, I discovered new interest things from
the way the columnist transformed it. But now I, myself as a writer or maker. I get to
discover new things by myself and its me who transformed what I learnt into words for
the magazine.

As I said earlier, Mafuang had a dream. She never want to be only a day-by-day writer,
but to bring the newest, freshest perspectives of life as much as possible through her
writings is her fully passion for this career. Life is not black and white. Its grey. When I
have to interview someone, I wont judge him or her on the stories I have heard. It brings
me to discover great things of people and makes me look at things more positively.

But when I asked for her life plan, a plan to be accomplished in five, 10, 20 and 50 years
personally and/ or personally, she have not much a long-term plan. For professionally,
to be honest, I dont have long-term yet because right now Im so happy with my work
and want to continue doing it as long as I can, She said. For personally, to loved and
beloved with someone that worth it. Have a happy love-life. Self-satisfied and be able to
responsible for my family as well. Thats all I want for love, and I think other girls would
do too,

Have a happy love and happy life, A quote from Mafuang is inspired me as a man,
and also stated on girls mind. Because Mafuang is a girl, and her readers are also girls.
She would know them crystal as well as she know herself. Thats why shes here, at
CLEO a place for happy-optimistic-young lady to working with, a place to share her
happiness to others girl through words. True that, she made me realize the magic of
writing and being a writer happily.
