In this photo it gives us a sense of deep space because it
seems never ending. This is created because the main thing
in this photo, the ocean, fills up the entire space. There are
no edges or finish to the water.

In this photo, you can see the lock of the door most clearly,
with a child peeking at it from a distance but its very blurry.
Close, peek, lock, eye, key. The lock of the door is much
larger than the child in the background when in reality its
the opposite. The lock is also a lot clearer and more lit up.
