HASHTAG THE WORLD AND LETS ROCK THE BLOCK!! Join Bryant & Stratton College in Celebrating 160 Years of Personal Education and Lifetime Success at the First Annual Community Festival
Richmond, VA The first annual #RocktheBlock Community Festival will celebrate 160 years of education with many activities for current and prospective students.
The event will take place from 1 p.m. 4 p.m. on Saturday September 27, 2014. It will take place on the campus of Bryant & Stratton College at 8141 Hull Street Road, Richmond, VA 23235. Admission is free and open to the public.
BSC Alumni will be present to speak to students about their post graduate success in their careers as well as give prospective students the highlights of attending college and especially BSC. There will be live demonstrations to highlight program areas such as free blood pressure screenings for nursing, entrepreneurs in the food truck industry for business and police for law enforcement. Bring your kids and enjoy the food vendors, music, radio remotes, Kona Ice, the balloon man, moon bounce and video game truck and much more!
I am thrilled about this event because we will be able to give prospective students an idea of a day in the life of a BSC student as well as give current students live demonstrations of what their days will be like in their fields, Campus Director Darlene Joe said. We are a technology friendly campus and hopefully this hashtag event will bring attention to the college, Richmond and surrounding areas as well as the community so they can see that we also care about our fellow neighbors. The college directors and managers will also participate in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. They encourage participants to have fun, get dumped and donate for a cause or charity of their choice.
