Mr. Jordan was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan during the Civil Rights
Era. He served 5 years in the U.S. Army attaining the rank of Sergeant in
Administration & Finance and served 5 years in the Army National Guard
as a 2
nd
Lieutenant.in the Military Police. After being Honorably
Discharged , Mr. Jordan attended Michigan State University receiving a
B.A. in Criminal Justice.

This is Mr. Jordans 24
th
year as an educator, 11 years in the Atlanta Public
Schools, 2 years in Charter Schools , and 10 years with Fulton County
Schools all at Sandtown.

Mr. Jordan has created mentoring and educational programs for youth
including Boys to Men and Preparation for College and Careers. He also
serves as Ministry Leader for the Youth Mentoring and Summer Camp
Ministries at his church Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral. Mr.
Jordans favorite scripture is Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he
should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.
