The objectives of a credit policy are:-

To minimize risk.

To develop a customized risk assessment framework so as
to assess all customers based on management / business
risk, financial due diligence.

To develop a credit limit methodology that suits
companys requirements.

To assess customers to whom goods can be sold on credit
and how much.
J OB ANALYSI S
While generating reports through SAP, it helped me to analyze:

To identify the defaulters and whether to increase the credit
limit or not.
To make regular entries in the database and update the
database.
To understand the risk assessment criteria.
To identify the right customers to whom credit should be
given.



LEARNING OUTCOMES
I learnt how to generate reports on SAP using
commands like:
zsd_dr - for dispatch
FBl5N - to view customers account, etc

Understood the credit policy of Jindal Steel
and Power Limited.
Learnt how to do parking for payments in SAP.

SUGGESTIONS
Customers should be informed before the due
date of their pending payments in order to
avoid delay of payments.

List of defaulters should be regularly updated
while doing entries.
